Happy I’m ba-ack Saturday, friends!

There’s no way to adequately catch up, so I won’t try.

That’s really the way life is anyway. We might think we have catching up to do, but what we really have is the opportunity to maximize this moment.

I hope I can do that in a meaningful way today.

This time a week ago I was trying to recover from the previous 24 hours of travel to get home from Warsaw, Poland—the final stop on the 2025 Baltic Sea Mission of the Singing Men of Texas – North Central.

This time two weeks ago, we were in our concert in Tallinn, Estonia.

This time three weeks ago … I have no idea.

I’ve included a photo of my solo in one of the concerts (I don’t remember which one—we did 8 straight days of concerts in 6 different countries).

But what I want to highlight today is the sequence of 3 photos that I saw for the first time this morning as I was looking through several hundred photos sent by the Ukrainian photographer who accompanied us on the trip.

I believe this was following our concert in Riga, Latvia.

This lady was receiving the gift of a Bible in her language.

Look. At. Her. Face.

Man! Those photos stopped me in my tracks.

Most of us could go to some store near our home TODAY and buy a Bible in our language.

Many of us have multiple copies in our homes.

When was the last time any of us looked at it like that?

When was the last time we considered the Bible a treasure—the written record of God’s revelation of who He is and His love for us?

Many of us live in a culture where the Bible is more often used as a weapon against our “enemies” than a window into the heart of our gracious God.

Let me encourage you today to look at this dear lady’s face one more time.

Then go pick up your Bible and look at it. Hold it in your hand and pray that God would help you to treasure Him through reading His word.

If you don’t have one in your heart language, let me know. I’ll find a way to get you one.

Be amazing today, my friend.
